Here we go again.. cats back to strike! Already, although in this case it is a leopard, is still a part of the family.. 🙂
For an event that was held Hobby Show 2013, in Milan in conjunction with Cartoomics 2013, I have realized and applied this prosthesis' face feline’ and subsequently colored by Flavio Bosco for the realization of this bodypainting.
The nose, applied with glue for prosthesis, adheres to the whole portion of the face covered, and being made of very soft material, it preserves the facial expressions.
E’ was fun to see the large number of people who, around the fair, Anya stopped, our model, to be immortalized in a photo a pose with a cat of this caliber!

Always a lover of mystical charm exercised by the woman feline, I freely inspired by a work of makeup and special effects seen all'IMATS 2009 and manufactured by Nelly Recchia, for the realization of this chimera, which contributed in costest istuito by the National Film Bologna.

The most striking feature of makeup are these huge ears feline style, which confer aggressiveness and at the same time sensuality to the face of Silvia, building with the rest of the face an almost perfect triangular.
For their realization, I leaned against the head of my faithful dummy annni vintage 70s often used for testing body-painting.
Being a project commissioned and without sponsors, I could not use the materials' quality’ and I had to make do with what we already had at home. First I then isolated the head with a thin plastic film for food, pulled to remove any pieghetta and secured with masking tape, so that it can stay as integral with the head. Once established forms and volumes with a quick outline of paper, also useful to create the symmetry with the other side, I started modeling phase with modeling clay.

Given the particular shape of the ear totally asymmetrical and the presence of several undercuts, I decided that the only way available to me to get that object, was to realize a mold in three pieces and with dual key (the top of the photo one of the two molds obtained with positive silicone attached).
Although it is not new to this dipo working, I guarantee you that the opening of the first mold has been as exciting as the opening of the Christmas gifts that I did my grandparents when I was a child.
The platinum silicone fact that I used (really not cheap, but it was one of the few materials I had available in good quantity) is a substance very sensitive, whose proper catalyst can be inhibited by many elements. Plaster mold, carnauba wax and vaseline instead worked perfectly.
Holding all the pieces, the realization of the work was not particularly difficult, but it required a lot of patience on my part is that by the model.
In fact, I started applying a cap (bald cap) in Glatzan blended with acetone, I also served to hide his ears and eyebrows.
I then glued the cat's ears with the pros-aide to the shell, ears that had deliberately left rather rough at the bottom and treated with talcum powder to facilitate the adhesion of the glue.
But also in the next layer gave uniformly over cap and ears, after sealing minor imperfections with bondo (pros-aide + Aerosil), I noticed an excellent adhesion over the entire surface.
The pros-aide dried with a hair dryer and then powdered provided a great base for color-based fat (Supracolor) used for the bottom.
In about three hours, also spurred by Silvia (my model, I owe a special thank you and part of the credit for the success of the project), I completed the, completing work with stencils and airbrush for the realization of the track maculata and eyebrows.

We leave then latex and fake blood, to devote to a softer makeup, made of color and chiaroscuro.

Before you begin the trick I applied to Jaya contact lenses colored type 'Manson', This is to prevent later could bring the color on the eyelid in contact with the eyes or that they lacrimassero ruining so the trick.
The first operation of makeup needed was lighten the color of the skin, which has become a hot amber candy pink. To do this I sprayed a base airbrush with water colors.
Then I created a purple bruise, mixing together the pink base and appropriate amounts of red and blue.
This color was then used only in the recesses of the face and body, gradient, to increase the sense of depth. You can see clearly around the eyes, under the cheekbones, the edges of the nose and on the upper section of the bust.
Even the lips have been redesigned with a brush, with the same purple color used for the chiaroscuros, but giving the lower lip greater roundness.
I then apply false eyelashes, long but not thick, that helped give the eyes a sense of roundness.
The hair, already collected for the trick, were covered with a beautiful black wig, that Jaya had found in the morning and that he could not resist..
A range of accessories such as lace gloves and a crown of flowers have compeltato the Gothic look.

E’ was really nice and fun to slip this year Cartoomics, fair that was held from 16 to the 18 March at the exhibition in Milan, under the guise of helping Samuela, friend of long standing, the realization of the trick (face e body painting) which has transformed into Lady Vashj, character in World of Warcraft.
In the specific, in addition to helping her achieve her face on the character facepainting, I have created and implemented a couple of cosmetic contact lenses scleral, she has patiently worn both days, for the entire duration of the event, and that turned the eyes of those diabolical Lady Vashj.

Here is a proposal to make up for Carnival: fatal beauty!

As you can see from the photos, it's a trick asymmetric, where the right side of the face was made up with make-up rather marked beuaty, accentuating the light and shade of makeup on the eyelids and under the cheekbones, I realized while on the left face-painting of a skull with colored water.
Before you begin face painting, I covered the eyebrow with soap, to do it then disappeared under makeup.
To draw the skull I was inspired by a couple of pictures downloaded from the Internet (specifically from wikipedia, that).

The realization of face painting:

With the black color and a thin brush I have updated the guidelines that define eye, nose, mandible and maxilla, and the various teeth, helping with the feel and trying to follow the underlying bone.
Then I mixed white, yellow and a touch of black, for the typical color of the bones, preferring a shade a little’ darker, so that we can build on later, and chiaroscuro shadings.
I colored with white teeth, and nose, eye and the inner side of the square jaw with black, I also used to mark the boundary face.
Finally I created using the black shades and a big brush and almost dry, bringing into the dark inner points and using the white to create fake reflections (For example, on the forehead, cheekbone and the center of the nose) in the most obvious; and I added some detail with the brush nice and simple (a crack on the nose and under the eye).

Also this year (I had already worked with the district of 'The Centre’ in 2008) I took part in the realization of the performance as head of makeup, assisted in the execution of the make-up of actors and extras from Giorgia and two girls of the district.
Makeup and costumes are original inspiration in the comic 'Cavalier of Gommasgonfia', in which Don Quixote, after a period of inactivity, back into the spotlight, But in a society that no longer belong to him anymore, driven by love for his Dulcinea will be to challenge a world dominated by technology.
The show takes place in a choreography and then strictly in black and white, to remind the viewer the idea of ​​comics, bulwark of amusement yesterday that the company wants to challenge what it is today, the wrong side of the multimedia: chat e interent, strictly color.
So,the show was held, the length of just over 20 minutes, that has staged 87 between actors and extras, All make-up on the spot and eventually won the Palio as a better representation.
All the characters have been loaded with water-based paints, the bottom of which is lying on the sponge or airbrush, and to complete the trick has been applied prosthetic noses made of latex (Hence the creation of the backstage) , cap, mustaches and beards.
To fix the makeup on your face I used the hairspray, that has been sorely tested by the hot temperatures of the day.

Outside the box this year the birthday of the famous 'Lola Fox', Drag Queen that for years now animates the nightlife nightclub Art Club Desenzano.
So, not to be outdone, with the most likeable Izzi we launched the construction of a usable body painting during the evening.

What to give to a friend for your bachelorette party ?
Betty already knew when I brought it, intrigued by the live body painting that I had never seen, and at the same time eager to make something beautiful and original way to celebrate with a little’ in advance about to marry girlfriend.
